On the nose, VIREO offers aromas of citrus and hops, with subtle notes of oolong tea. On the palate, VIREO shows its lively acidity through the green tea kombucha, which is balanced by the sweetness of pears and apples. Herbs such as lemon verbena, lemon balm and chamomile, as well as tree needles, lend the drink depth and complexity. Black, green, white and pink pepper add a slight spiciness, while oak, cherry and plum wood contribute elegant tannins.

 

Lively and balanced, VIREO pairs well with savoury, lemony and summery dishes, as well as fish, poultry and mild cheeses. 

VIREO is best served at 10-12 °C.
